Education at APS Hempur is an integrated process with a flexible curriculum that takes into account the heterogenity of the learner and learning style. Emphasis is laid on acquiring linguistic and logical ability and nurturing multiple intelligence by adopting innovative methods to stimulate interest and attention among the students. This opens up pathways to a holistic and harmonious development of the young learners.

i) Primary Curriculum : The Primary Block of the school has been deliberately designed a little away from the main building. In this vibrant, fun filled and cocooned world young minds are nurtured and led to a path of discovery. The “find out yourself” policy keeps both the willingness to learn and the inquisitiveness to learn alive. The subjects taught are English, Hindi, Mathematics, Environmental Science, Art and Craft.

ii) Middle and Senior Curriculum: The middle and senior curriculum is designed to foster a spirit of inquiry in the young impressionable minds, but without compromising the innate humanity so essential in today’s rough tumble word.

a) Classes VI – VIII : The interactive method of teaching learning is the corner stone of the educational edifice in the middle classes. Children are encouraged to go beyond the books through innovative methods be it projects, experiments or assignments. The main subjects taught are English, Math, Hindi, Sanskrit, General Science, Social Studies and Computer Science.

b) Classes IX & X : The curriculum in this stage is designed to encourage high order thinking skills and analytical and logical applications. Students are prepared for the CBSE Board’s examinations. The social, emotional, cognitive and physical needs of students are addressed in this crucial period of transition from childhood to adulthood. The subjects taught are  English , Hindi, Math, Science, Social Studies and Introductory Information Technology.

c) Classes XI & XII : The water tight compartment of Science and Commerce streams do not provide much leeway for curriculum flexibility. However, this is more than compensated by the novel and innovative teaching methods adopted by the faculty.

In grade XI students can opt for the Science or Commerce stream

which enables them to appear for AISSCE conducted by the CBSE. The main aim is to instill self confidence in students so as to outshine in the competitive world and equip them with positive behaviour, knowledge, leadership skills and an understanding of human values and ethics.
